Andrea Sanguineti will be in 2018/19 part of opera productions such as La Bohème at the Theater Essen, Carmen at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck and Lucia di Lammermoor at the Opera Graz. He performed alongside internationally renowned soloists such as Annette Dasch, Lena Belkina or Franco Farina.

The 2018/19 season will see Lena perform in productions like Alcina at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden or Katja Kabanova at the Teatro San Carlo (alongside Sergey Kovnir). Lena‘s successful career is characterised by the cooperation with important conductors/artists such as José Carreras, Marco Armiliato, Adam Fischer, Andrea Sanguineti or Riccardo Muti.

ALEKSANDRA SZMYD

Already a star in her home country of Poland, Aleksandra Szmyd is eager to make a name for herself in the rest of the world.

The young soprano already gained experience by performing at renowned venues such as the Wiener Konzerthaus or the Musikverein Graz. Her speciality are works by Mozart, Händel, Haydn and Donizetti. Furthermore, she is also passionate about operetta and musicals, having sung roles like Hanna Glawari (Die Lustige Witwe), Grizabella (Cats), Christine Daaé (Phantom of the Opera) or Adele (Fledermaus).

TOBIAS GREENHALGH

A young, exciting talent, baritone Tobias Greenhalgh is highly requested by important opera and concert houses worldwide.

Tobias’ highlights in the 2018/19 season will be performances in Don Giovanni, a Liederabend in Poland, as well as his debut in Don Pasquale in Montpellier, France. He sang at the Carnegie Hall, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Theater an der Wien, amongst others.

Already a member of the Vienna State Opera and a graduate of the famous Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Russian artist is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the repertoire by composers of her home country, as well as Rossini, Mozart and Händel. She has worked with people like Guido Mancusi, Simone Young, Susanne Mälkki, and perfected her craft under Vesselina Kassarova and Evgeni Nesterenko.

MARKUS BUTTER

One of the most versatile bass-baritones of our time.

Highlights of the artists‘ 2018/19 season will be his debut at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Gunter in Götterdämmerung and a concert performance at the Konzerthaus Vienna. Markus worked with legendary conductors such as Sir Antonio Pappano, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Herbert Blomstedt, Semyon Bychkov or Zubin Mehta.

A favourite of the legendary Galina Vishnevskaya, Alexey Sayapin is cited as one of the most promising and talented voices of the past years. 

The Russian tenor’s 2018/19 season includes Roméo et Juliette and La Traviata in Aachen. He performed alongside renowned orchestras such as the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, and could be seen at many prestigious music festivals around the world.
