In addition to that, Maestro Vandelli has been Director of the Music Department and Assistant Music Director to James Levine for ten years. In Verbier, Claudio Vandelli successfully worked with a large number of guest conductors, such as Charles Dutoit, Valery Gergiev, Kurt Masur, Mstislav Rostropovich, Wolfgang Sawallisch and Yuri Temirkanov.
